WELCOME TO RbC Kids!
We are so excited and privileged to provide a Sunday experience where children (babies through 5th grade) encounter the life-changing power of Jesus and His word in safe, fun, age-appropriate environments.
THE RbC Kids EXPERIENCE
RELATIONSHIPS
We value community, friendship and recognize the need for belonging. Kids will experience close interaction with leaders and peers their age, and as families commit to attending each week, those familiar faces become authentic, life-giving relationships.
CREATIVE BIBLE TEACHING
We strive to captivate the hearts and minds of kids by creatively telling them the stories of the greatest book ever written…the Bible. We utilize activities, crafts, visual arts and discussions to help kids connect and apply God’s word to their lives.
SAFETY
We understand that when kids (and parents!) feel safe, they can relax and engage in discovery. Every Sunday, each child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number. All RbC Kids volunteers are screened through an application process and federal background check, and security personnel monitor each hallway.
AGE-APPROPRIATE
Our classroom environments, materials and activities are designed in a way your child will understand. We are committed to presenting God’s word in fun and memorable ways at every age level.
FUN!!
Kids love to have fun and we do too! Therefore, fun (and maybe a little bit of silliness!) are an integral part of the RbC Kids experience and we hope each kid can’t wait to come back!
FIRST EXPERIENCE
Our goal is to make everything about your first visit feel like we had you specifically in mind! To ensure we provide a safe and overall great experience for your child, we will ask for some registration information, such as: child’s name, birthdate, address, phone number and special instructions (allergies, etc.). CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
As you check your child in prior to service, a matching security code will be generated and will appear on your child’s name tag and parent receipt. Your child will wear the name tag and you’ll keep the parent receipt to present at pickup. Children will be released from their classrooms and our safety volunteers will only release children to an adult providing the matching security code receipt.
WORSHIP EXPERIENCE
All babies and children attending RbC kids will be in their classrooms from the time the family signs in until signing out after the service ends. In case we need to notify you during service, we will come find you in the auditorium if necessary. Please exit the worship center immediately and head to the RbC Kids welcome table, where an RbC Kids volunteer will dismiss your child to you.
BABIES
We understand that you might not be ready to put your baby into the nursery during service! We have set up a rocking chair inside the gymnasium at the end of the bleachers for your use. There is also a changing table and rocking chair in the Early Childhood area for you as well. Stop by the RbC Kids Check-In table if you need help with anything!
